FocalPoint reporting combines the power and flexibility of Crystal Reports with easy distribution via the web. In this way, FocalPoint can become a robust reporting hub for the entire organisation.
Presenting a wide range of standard reports, any Crystal Report can be added into FocalPoint and run from within the web browser. A user can apply common search criteria to any number of reports and run these all at the same time. Reports can incorporate drill down, be saved locally and exported into standard formats such as Excel and PDF for further distribution outside of FocalPoint.
Report distribution is administered securely to ensure that users may only access their allocated reports. The information is as up to date as the time the report is run, removing the need to manually refresh and email updates.
Crystal Reports is an industry-standard reporting tool and FocalPoint provides a range of pre-configured reports to simplify licensing and distribution issues when presenting information throughout the organisation. This enables users to develop their own reports and add them straight into FocalPoint.
In addition to the reporting functionality, fast enquiries have been added to FocalPoint to allow access to key summary information at the click of a button. The system comes with pre-defined enquiry views that cover the main ledgers within Access Dimensions and also has the ability for users to create custom enquiry views on the system.
Smart tag integration is supported within FocalPoint via the Access Dimensions smart tag summary reports. These can be launched from the enquiry windows to facilitate full drill-down to any selected record card highlighted on the enquiry window.
